The power for Chesapeake Western train V-94 lays over at the site of the former SR station at Kratzer Ave. in Harrisonburg on April 20, 1989. V-94 handles the Harrisonburg to Mount Jackson train which assumed operation from the Southern Railway on April 15, 1989. The locomotives (GP35 R/N 229, B23-7 R/N 3985) and caboose 555075 began operation here on this day rather than from the traditional CW terminal several blocks south in Harrisonburg (Photo by Mason Cooper) |
