On the Cover: If you close your eyes and romanticize, you know Class A 1236 is westbound at Blue Ridge with 100 empty hoppers in tow. The hoppers, many of them Class H2A, have been unloaded in Norfolk, at Pier No. 5. N&WHS member Steve Gates is the artist who created this wonderful cover.
