NWHS Archives Hours

The N&W Historical Society Archives is located at 2101 Salem Ave SW in Roanoke, VA near Shaffers Crossing.
From the Virginia Museum of Transportation, head west on Salem Ave for 1.6 miles. The Archives will be located on your right at the corner of Salem Ave and 21st Street SW
From the O Winston Link Museum, head west on Shenandoad Ave until you reach the 2nd stoplight at 24th street. Turn left and pass under Shaffers crossing. After leaving the tunnel, take the first left onto Salem Ave. The Archives will be located on your left about halfway up the hill at the corner of Salem Ave and 21st Street SW.
The Archives Committee works Thursday - Sunday on the second weekend of each month. The Committee is very willing to show you around and assist you with any reasonable research request you may have.
